Folks, it has been a hectic few months, but my writing hiatus is over. Way back in September I spent a few weeks in New York tying up some loose ends. Upon returning, I had approximately 1 week before my boyfriend left for a trip to Paris; one week during which we absolutely had to find an apartment, lest I go at it alone (not a good option). Alas, after seeing what felt like dozens of apartments, we passed an "À louer" (for rent) sign in the Mile End and figured "what do we have to lose?" The day before his trip we were signing the paperwork. A few days later I was packing up and moving out with the help of some gracious friends.
Since then, life has been moving fast with new projects, internships, decorating, buying furniture (apartment tour post to come), and haircuts (BANGS!). The weather is colder but that hasn't dampened my spirits as indicated by my dedication to floral prints.
Now that I am a full-fledged resident of Montreal's hip Mile End neighborhood, it's only appropriate to share some photos as I jaunt around a pretty Mile End alleyway that looks like my beloved Medellín. Outfit details below.
