It's been snowing for a few weeks now and with each passing day I develop new tricks or discover new products to deal with this freezing weather without looking shlumpy. *pats self on the back* The hardest part however is dealing with footwear. The thing about Montreal is that the city is extremely efficient and well-equipped to deal with snow, so the the sidewalks stay mostly clear; I am not trekking knee-deep in powder like I pictured. All you really need is treatable leather and rubber soles with traction (and warm socks and wool inserts, but more on that later). I was thrilled when I discovered this pair of moto boots from local brand L'intervalle. They keep me warm and dry and they are great for toughening up a feminine style or print. I feel like I can kick some ass in these boots.
