I'm so thrilled to be enjoying spring temperatures and styling outfits for mild transitional weather. LOL JK, it feels like 6 degrees Fahrenheit and I basically wore a snowsuit to walk to the store yesterday. Montreal spring is a cruel and fickle minx. If you live in a city that actually experiences spring, here is a bit of styling inspiration for that in-between weather. These photos were taken just a few days ago before Montreal was slapped with a cold front. It's been a lovely winter, but I'm quite ready for spring trends.
Meanwhile, I can still don a fresh white tee as long as it's layered under a cardigan or jacket and then engulfed in a down-filled subzero sleeping bag. I love this updated version I scored at a Rag & Bone sample sale. It's covered with strategically placed paint splatters that say "look how edgy and effortless I am." In all serious, I love the soft and flattering cotton, the unique design, and the urban New York appeal. If you're new to Rag & Bone, that is pretty much their MO in addition to tailored menswear and a refreshing take on high-quality basics. Though they don't have stores in Canada, they offer flat-rate shipping to Canada, and you can check out some of their latest offerings at Nordstrom. However, nothing compares to seeing and feeling the modern styles and quality fabrics in person where it all began. Brb, gonna head to NYC real quick.
